Dibba Al-Hisn Municipal Council Reviews Development Plans For Border Crossings

The Municipal Council of Dibba Al-Hisn recently convened with the committee responsible for border crossings in Sharjah. The meeting focused on discussing the facilities available at Dibba Al-Hisn's border points and planning future enhancements to ensure smooth transit. This gathering was led by Ahmed Abdullah bin Ya'ruf Al-Naqbi, the council's chairman.

Taleb Abdullah Al-Yahyai, Director of Dibba Al-Hisn Municipality, was also present, along with Colonel Walid Mohammed Al-Nahham from Sharjah Police and Major Mohammed Al-Afari from the National Guard.

Enhancing Border Crossings in Dibba Al-Hisn

The discussions covered various topics such as developing border crossings from the corniche and the city's western side. Enhancements to landscaping and beautification of entrances and exits were considered essential. Improving lighting and road conditions leading to these points were also highlighted as priorities to improve traveller experiences.

This aligns with directives from His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah. His guidance focuses on improving work procedures and boosting service quality at border crossings.
