Mubadala Investment Company Announces $600 Million Stake In Nord Anglia Education
Mubadala Investment Company, based in Abu Dhabi, has agreed to purchase a minority stake in Nord Anglia Education for $600 million. This acquisition aligns Mubadala with a consortium led by EQT, which includes Neuberger Berman, Canada Pension Plan Investment Board, Corporación Financiera Alba, S.A., and Dubai Holding. This strategic move highlights the growing demand for quality education globally.
Nord Anglia operates over 80 schools across 33 countries, educating more than 90,000 students aged 2 to 18. The organisation is renowned for its personalised learning approach, tailoring classroom instruction to suit each student's unique learning style. Its Year 12 graduates often gain admission to the world's top 100 universities, showcasing the effectiveness of its educational model.
