MT Group Launches Phase 2 Of Supply Chain Expansion With New Manufacturing Facility In Abu Dhabi
MT Group has unveiled the second phase of its supply chain expansion in Abu Dhabi. This development is a key step in the Emirate's advanced manufacturing goals. The expansion includes a new large-scale valve manufacturing facility and a forging unit, both under MT Group subsidiaries MT OKAY and MT YINGLIU.
The new manufacturing site covers over 11,500 square metres. It will use smart technologies like automation and digital controls to produce industrial valves up to 56 inches wide. These valves are designed for sectors such as energy, water, and heavy infrastructure. The project involves an investment of up to AED100 million and aims to create around 200 skilled jobs in engineering, operations, and digital manufacturing.

The industrial forging unit will be the UAE's first for precision free and pattern forging. It spans 12,000 square metres and will produce components ranging from 2 to 48 inches in diameter. This plant will support high-spec applications in the industrial and energy sectors using smart, energy-efficient systems. Construction is underway with an investment of up to AED100 million, creating about 100 new specialist roles.
MT Group's phase 1 facility was successfully commissioned earlier. The phase 2 expansion is a collaboration between the Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO) and MT Valves. This partnership strengthens the company's industrial presence in the Emirate. MT OKAY and MT YINGLIU will jointly implement this phase, while MT Valve and Industries International will coordinate efforts.
Mohammad Al Kamali from ADIO remarked on the significance of MT Group’s continued investment in Abu Dhabi. He said it highlights the Emirate’s role as a reliable partner for industrial innovators aiming for global growth. "With world-class infrastructure, advanced regulatory frameworks and a business-friendly environment, Abu Dhabi offers a compelling platform for manufacturers ready to transform supply chains and expand to international markets," he stated.
Snow Feinan Li, Vice Chair of MT Group, expressed pride in contributing to Abu Dhabi's competitive industrial hub status. "This expansion marks a defining chapter in MT Group’s journey in Abu Dhabi," she noted. By investing strategically in manufacturing capabilities, they aim not only to localise supply but also exceed international standards.
This expansion aligns with Abu Dhabi's vision of becoming a leading centre for industrial innovation and export excellence. The strategic investments by MT Group reinforce this goal by enhancing local manufacturing capabilities while meeting global benchmarks.
