Morocco Set To Host The 8th Emirates Arabian Horse Global Cup In 2024
The Kingdom of Morocco will host the 8th Emirates Arabian Horse Global Cup (EAHS) for the 2024 season from 20th to 21st July. The event will take place at the Institut National du Cheval Prince Héritier Moulay El Hassan in Dar Es Salam, Rabat.
This year's competition is exclusive to Moroccan owners and breeders. It is expected to attract numerous Arabian horse enthusiasts from across Morocco. The Kingdom becomes the second African nation to host the EAHGC, following Egypt's hosting of the 6th edition last June.

The National Horse Institute, HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan, was inaugurated in 2013 in Dar Es Salam, Rabat. It is considered the first institution dedicated to equestrian professions in Morocco. The institute focuses on training future equestrians and preserving Morocco’s rich equestrian heritage through national and international events.
The Cup is held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan. He serves as Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the Presidential Court, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the EAHS. Sheikh Zayed bin Hamad Al Nahyan, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the EAHS, follows up on this event.
Sheikh Zayed highlighted that the successes of the EAHGC reflect His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan's vision. His contributions support Arabian horses' journey in all their activities worldwide.
Strategic Partnerships
Hosting the 8th edition in Morocco underscores the Kingdom’s significant role in Arabian horse breeding. It also highlights the strategic UAE-Morocco partnership in advancing Arabian horse activities internationally.
The 2024 EAHGC season began in February in Australia. The 7th edition took place on 7th July in São Paulo, Brazil.
The event aims to foster a deeper appreciation for Arabian horses and strengthen ties between nations involved in equestrian sports.
