Morocco Delegate Joins IMCTC, Enhancing Global Counter-Terrorism Collaboration
The Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC) announced the arrival of Colonel Hassan Dakech, the newly appointed delegate from Morocco, to its headquarters. IMCTC Secretary General, Major General Pilot Mohammed bin Saeed Al-Moghedi, praised this move as a significant step by Morocco's leadership. He noted that it underscores Morocco's commitment to international cooperation in combating terrorism and rejecting violent extremism.
Major General Al-Moghedi highlighted Morocco's relentless efforts in fighting terrorism, which have garnered international acclaim. He pointed out that Morocco's approach is a model of a comprehensive and multi-dimensional strategy. This includes participation in international alliances, establishing specialized training centers, and implementing an extensive counter-terrorism strategy.

At the end of the reception, Major General Al-Moghedi welcomed Colonel Dakech and wished him success in his new role. He emphasized the crucial role that delegates from member states play in supporting the coalition's strategic initiatives against terrorism.
The IMCTC consists of 42 member states working together to coordinate and unify efforts across various domains. These include intellectual, media, counter-terrorism financing, and military operations. The coalition collaborates with friendly countries and international organizations to combat terrorism efficiently and effectively.
Major General Al-Moghedi added that Morocco spares no effort in its fight against terrorism and in eradicating it, as evidenced by the tangible results that have been praised by the international community.

Colonel Dakech will work alongside colleagues from other member states at the coalition’s headquarters. His presence is expected to enhance collaborative efforts within the coalition.
The IMCTC aims to support intellectual, media, counter-terrorism financing, and military efforts with high efficiency. The coalition partners with friendly nations and global organizations to combat terrorism effectively.
