Moroccan Delegation Learns From SDAIA's Data And AI Advances

A delegation from the Moroccan House of Representatives' AI working group visited the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) to explore its expertise in data technologies and AI. This visit aimed to bolster bilateral relations between Morocco and Saudi Arabia.

During their visit, a workshop was conducted to showcase SDAIA's efforts in data and AI, highlighting its role in advancing digital transformation within Saudi Arabia. The workshop covered advanced applications and technologies that have positioned the Kingdom as a leader in data and AI, supported by HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, and Chairman of SDAIA's Board of Directors.

Morocco Explores SDAIA's AI Efforts

The Moroccan delegation received an overview of SDAIA's initiatives in data governance and ethical AI usage. These efforts aim to enhance quality of life while maximizing economic and social benefits. The delegation also reviewed their own AI working group's activities within the Moroccan House of Representatives, stressing the importance of cooperation between the two nations.

SDAIA's contributions to building Saudi data and AI capabilities were also discussed. This includes their academy's camps and training programs developed in collaboration with academic institutions and international tech companies. These initiatives are designed to foster local talent and expertise in these critical fields.

The upcoming Global AI Summit, scheduled for September 10-12 in Riyadh, was highlighted during the visit. This event is expected to gather global leaders in AI to discuss advancements and future directions in the field.
