Moro Hub Collaborates With Dubai Electronic Security Centre To Enhance Cybersecurity For Government Entities
Moro Hub, a part of Digital DEWA under Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (PJSC), has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Dubai Electronic Security Centre (DESC). This agreement was signed at GISEC Global 2025, held from 6th to 8th May at the Dubai World Trade Centre. Hassan Abdulla from DESC and Mohammad Bin Sulaiman of Moro Hub were present for the signing.
The collaboration aims to enhance Dubai's cyber resilience by providing comprehensive security assessments for government bodies. This initiative will bolster the protection of critical digital infrastructure, safeguarding sensitive data, information systems, and telecommunications networks throughout the emirate.

DESC is committed to making Dubai a safe digital city as it advances towards smart transformation goals. "Cybersecurity is a key enabler of Dubai’s digital economy and smart city ambitions," stated Hassan Abdulla. He highlighted that their partnership with Moro Hub supports the objectives of the Dubai Cyber Security Strategy and the Dubai Economic Agenda D33.
Mohammad Bin Sulaiman expressed pride in partnering with DESC to support Dubai's vision of becoming a global digital leader. "This collaboration combines Moro Hub’s cutting-edge cybersecurity services with DESC’s strategic oversight to create a secure and resilient ecosystem," he said. The partnership aims to set new standards in cybersecurity excellence while reducing risks and optimising costs.
During the signing ceremony, both organisations stressed the importance of working together to establish a secure smart city framework. By combining DESC’s regulatory authority with Moro Hub’s technical expertise, this MoU directly contributes to Dubai's ambition of being a global leader in innovation, digital excellence, and cyber safety.
This agreement aligns with the UAE's objective to construct a resilient digital future and position itself as a benchmark for secure digital governance. The collaboration is expected to lay the groundwork for an agile and innovative digital ecosystem that supports sustainable economic growth while enhancing public trust.
