Monsha'at Launches Nationwide Commercial Franchise Tour To Foster Investment
The Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority (Monsha'at) will initiate a commercial franchise tour next month, beginning in Al-Khobar Governorate from August 12 to 13. This event aims to introduce services and programs within the commercial franchise field, aligning with the Kingdom's Vision 2030 goals.
The tour's primary goal is to boost awareness and understanding of commercial franchises, covering legal, operational, and marketing aspects. It seeks to stimulate expansion and investment through the commercial franchise business model. The event will also review success stories in this field and provide a comprehensive investment environment through the participation of enabling and advisory entities, brand franchisors, and potential franchisees.

In its first phase this year, the tour will cover five cities and governorates: Al-Khobar, Abha, Qassim, Hail, and Jeddah. Next year, it will extend to seven more cities and governorates. The entire tour will conclude its activities in two regions by 2026.
A significant feature of the first phase is a franchise exhibition where over 80 brands will present their investment opportunities. More than 375 franchise opportunities will be showcased during this exhibition. This initiative aims to create an effective communication network between prominent brands and those interested in the sector.
The event includes robust educational and awareness programs such as dialogue sessions, meetings, workshops, and advisory sessions. These programs are designed to ensure that all participants are well-informed and prepared for their ventures into the commercial franchise sector.
Monsha'at's initiative is set to support and enable entities involved in commercial franchises. By introducing these services and programs, Monsha'at aims to align with Vision 2030's objectives of economic diversification and growth.
The tour will continue next year across seven additional cities and governorates before concluding all activities in two regions by 2026. This phased approach ensures widespread reach and impact across various regions in Saudi Arabia.
Participants can expect comprehensive guidance on establishing franchises through these educational programs. The sessions aim to foster an understanding of the commercial franchise model's intricacies among potential investors.
This initiative by Monsha'at underscores its commitment to fostering a thriving business environment for small and medium enterprises in Saudi Arabia. By facilitating access to franchising opportunities, Monsha'at aims to drive economic growth and diversification as envisioned in Vision 2030.
