MOMENTUM 2025 Conference To Focus On Sustainable Development In Riyadh This December

Under the auspices of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Riyadh will host the Development Finance Conference MOMENTUM. This event, organised by the National Development Fund (NDF), will take place from December 9 to 11 at the King Abdulaziz International Conference Center. The conference is themed "Leading Development Transformation."

The MOMENTUM Conference aims to support the strategic goals of the NDF and its associated development funds and banks. It seeks to enrich the development sector and improve the efficiency of the development ecosystem. The conference also aims to strengthen the sector's ability to meet national priorities while ensuring a sustainable impact on society and the economy.

MOMENTUM serves as a strategic platform reflecting Saudi Arabia’s commitment to sustainable development. It embodies NDF's role in supporting comprehensive development transformation and enhancing integration among national development funds and banks. This event provides a unique space for knowledge exchange and dialogue on future development finance.

Mohammed Al-Tuwaijri, Vice Chairman of NDF's Board of Directors, expressed gratitude to HRH the Crown Prince for his patronage. He stated, "MOMENTUM 2025 is more than a conference. It represents a new path for comprehensive and sustainable development. It aims to maximize the developmental impact on society and the environment through a thriving and sustainable economy, while showcasing the Kingdom’s position on the global stage as a leading destination for development transformation."

The conference highlights the crucial role of private enterprises and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) within the development finance ecosystem. These sectors are fundamental pillars for stimulating economic growth, creating job opportunities, and enhancing competitiveness in line with Vision 2030.

Organising this event underscores NDF’s role as a key enabler of development in Saudi Arabia. As a strategic arm leading the development finance landscape through its 12 affiliated funds and banks, NDF seeks to unify efforts to ensure sustainable growth and empower vital sectors.

Global Participation

The conference will feature over 100 local and international speakers from more than 120 entities worldwide. Attendees will include several princes, ministers, high-ranking officials, CEOs, global leaders, development experts, and economists. This demonstrates its role as a national forum aligned with leadership’s vision to build a financing ecosystem that drives comprehensive development.

MOMENTUM contributes to strengthening coordination among development funds, banks, and global institutions while fostering partnerships with leaders from both public and private sectors. This ensures optimal resource utilisation to achieve Saudi Vision 2030 objectives.
