MoHRE Hosts 50 Open Career Days To Connect UAE Citizens With Job Opportunities In 2025
The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) held 50 open career days in the first half of 2025, aiming to recruit UAE citizens into the private sector. Over 160 private companies took part, attracting many Emiratis eager for employment. Job interviews were conducted on-site by company officials with qualified candidates.
During these events, establishments presented their job openings on the Nafis platform. This initiative was in collaboration with local Human Resources Departments, Neighbourhood Councils across various emirates, and educational institutions like Higher Colleges of Technology, Zayed University, University of Dubai, and Fatima College of Health Sciences.

Farida Abdulla Al Ali, Assistant Undersecretary of National Talents at MoHRE, emphasised the ministry’s dedication to organising these career days. She stated that these events are trusted by UAE citizens and employers due to MoHRE's direct supervision. "This confidence stems from the fact that these events are held under direct supervision from MoHRE, which examines the nature of the job opportunities offered and the salaries, in addition to following up on employment processes after interviews to ensure participating companies are serious with their intent to hire Emiratis. We commend our partners for their efforts and support for the open career days, as well as their dedication to ensuring the events’ success."
Al Ali highlighted that open career days provide significant benefits. They offer job opportunities for UAE citizens and allow them to have interviews on-site. These events also help companies meet Emiratisation targets by connecting them with skilled Emirati candidates suitable for available positions.
The Ministry continues its efforts to identify appropriate jobs in coordination with private sector partners. They aim to secure employment interviews based on real opportunities and monitor interview outcomes. The ministry reviews acceptance rates and addresses challenges to ensure optimal results.
The increasing participation of UAE citizens in these career days indicates their commitment to contributing actively to sustainable development and the national economy. This engagement reflects their determination to enhance their role in these areas.
