UAE: MOHRE Announces Nationwide NYE Celebrations For Workers Across All Emirates
The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MOHRE) has announced a series of New Year's Eve celebrations for workers across the UAE. The theme is "Happy Workers, Thriving Business." This initiative is in collaboration with various government bodies and organisations to ensure a successful event.
The celebrations are organised with the Ministry of Interior, Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security, and other key entities. These include Abu Dhabi Ports Group, Dubai's General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs, and the Civil Defence authorities in Abu Dhabi. Additionally, the Permanent Committee for Labour Affairs in Dubai and Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ) are involved.

The events aim to bring joy to workers by recognising their essential contributions to the UAE's growth. MOHRE organises such events on religious and national occasions to appreciate workers' roles in various sectors. Companies can register their employees for these festivities through ensureeventsnye.com.
The celebrations will feature entertainment activities, competitions, and prizes. Events will be held within labour accommodations by companies like Al Eskan Al Jamae, Labotel Workers Village, Emirates Global Aluminum, Fujairah National Construction & Transport Co., Tasameem Workers City, Al Salam Living City, Hameem Worker City, Khansaheb Contracting, Dulsco City, Al Jimi Worker Village, and Sawaeed Residential City.
The Insurance Pool provides diamond sponsorship while Aldar Properties offers platinum sponsorship. Strategic partners such as the UAE Food Bank and charity associations like Al Ihsan Charity Association are also supporting these events.
Earlier this month, MOHRE collaborated with federal and local government partners to celebrate the UAE's 53rd Eid Al Etihad. These efforts highlight MOHRE's dedication to enhancing worker satisfaction through meaningful celebrations.
This initiative underscores the ministry's commitment to fostering a positive environment for workers in the UAE. By organising these events, MOHRE acknowledges the vital role that workers play in driving progress across various sectors in the country.
