MoHAP Secures Three Wins At CIO Connect Awards 2024 For IT Excellence
The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) has been recognised at the CIO Connect Awards 2024, securing three accolades in the information technology and cybersecurity categories. Organised by CXO DX and Leap Media Solutions, the awards honour IT leaders in the UAE government sector for their exceptional achievements. The 2024 edition focuses on 'The Role of Technology in Enabling Transformation and Business Resilience’.
Hamda Al Mazmi and Rawda Al Suwaidi were honoured with the Cybersecurity Excellence Award, while Alia Al Nuaimi received recognition as the IT Manager of the Year. These awards were presented at a ceremony held in Dubai, attended by numerous senior IT decision-makers.

Abdullah Ahmed Ahli, Acting Assistant Under-Secretary for the Support Services Sector, expressed pride in receiving three awards from the ‘CIO Connect Awards 2024’. He noted that these accolades add to MoHAP's milestones and reflect its efforts to develop and employ top technological solutions to enhance health services and customer well-being.
Ahli emphasised that these awards reaffirm the Ministry's commitment to digital transformation by delivering outstanding digital government services tailored to meeting customer needs. Samir Al Khouri, Director of the Information Technology Department at MoHAP, stated that winning these awards is a testament to the Ministry's commitment to fostering a dynamic digital and cyber framework. This recognition fuels their momentum in advancing digital health services and enhancing customer engagement.
Al Khouri extended appreciation to the award winners for their relentless pursuit of delivering exceptional digital experiences. The "CIO Connect Awards 2024" provides a forum for over 50 executive business leaders, including IT managers, information security officials, heads of IT departments, and other senior IT roles, to convene and collaborate.
