MoHAP Engages In Generation Readiness Exhibition To Promote Youth Health Awareness And Preparedness
The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) took part in the "Generation Readiness Exhibition" at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre. This event, themed "Building aware and prepared generations," coincided with the World Crisis and Emergency Management Summit 2025 (WCEMS). It gathered various government bodies and strategic partners focused on enhancing crisis readiness and response systems.
Dr. Hussain Abdul Rahman Al Rand, Assistant Under-Secretary for the Public Health Sector, highlighted that MoHAP's involvement aimed to bolster efforts in promoting health prevention and readiness. These elements are crucial for developing a sustainable community capable of effectively handling emergencies. He noted that educating children and youth about preventive health measures fosters early awareness, positively impacting public health outcomes.

Fatma Hussain Alloghani, Director of the Epidemics and Surveillance Department at MoHAP, mentioned that the exhibition served as a comprehensive awareness platform. It allowed the ministry to guide the community towards adopting healthy behaviours. The event also integrated preventive health concepts into the broader community readiness framework through innovative methods.
The ministry organised workshops during the event to promote sound health practices among young people. These sessions were interactive and engaging, bridging education with real-world experience. This initiative aligns with MoHAP’s commitment to improving public health and boosting preventive awareness across all societal segments.
Al Rand further explained that incorporating health education into exhibition activities aligns with MoHAP's strategic goals. These include enhancing early warning systems, strengthening community responses, and tackling epidemics through a preventive approach. He stressed that investing in future generations' awareness is vital for bolstering health security.
The exhibition emphasised community partnership in safeguarding public health by promoting simple habits like handwashing, personal hygiene, and proper nutrition. These practices serve as the first line of defence against many diseases and help boost immunity. Alloghani added that interactive sessions and live experiences enhanced the ability to address health challenges sustainably.
MoHAP's focus on younger generations aims to shape a brighter future for the UAE by instilling a culture of prevention as a lifestyle. This ongoing priority is part of the UAE’s strategies for health preparedness and readiness. The ministry's efforts reflect its dedication to fostering a healthier society through education and proactive measures.
