MoHAP Hosts Workshop In Dubai To Enhance Food Safety And Public Health

The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) recently held a scientific workshop in Dubai focused on food safety, titled "Prepare for the Unexpected." The event gathered representatives from food safety authorities, along with experts and specialists in public health and food safety. The aim was to enhance ongoing efforts to prevent, detect, and manage risks associated with foodborne diseases.

Dr. Hussain Abdul Rahman Al Rand, Assistant Under-Secretary for the Public Health Sector, inaugurated the workshop. This event is part of a series of initiatives aimed at promoting public health and ensuring food safety. It aligns with the National Nutrition Strategy 2030, which seeks to establish sustainable dietary practices and supportive nutritional environments for all ages while reducing diseases linked to dietary risk factors and foodborne illnesses.
