Mohammed Bin Rashid School Celebrates 20 Years And Graduation Of 12th Masters Cohort
The Mohammed Bin Rashid School of Government (MBRSG) celebrated its 20th anniversary, highlighting its role in public administration and policy. Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and in the presence of H.H. Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the event also marked the graduation of the 12th Masters cohort. Seventy-five graduates from 27 entities received degrees across four programmes.
H.H. Sheikh Mansoor emphasised that MBRSG embodies H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum’s vision of prioritising people in development. He stated, "Over the past two decades, the School has established its credentials as an active platform for preparing national leaders, equipping them with the knowledge and innovative mindset required to drive the UAE’s journey towards the future."
MBRSG introduced its new strategy, MBRSG 33, which includes initiatives like the Center for Future of Government Research. This platform focuses on developing policies and solutions for digital transformation and AI readiness. The Smart Government Education Platform offers flexible learning experiences aligned with future skills.
The Global Leaders Programme aims to showcase UAE's public administration achievements globally by preparing leaders inspired by H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum’s leadership model. Additionally, the Alumni Ambassadors Programme enhances graduates' roles as global knowledge ambassadors.
MBRSG launched a Scholarship and Grants Fund to ensure financial sustainability and provide educational opportunities. Another initiative, MBRSG 5.0, aims to position the School as a leading fifth-generation educational institution by integrating AI into academic processes for enhanced learning experiences.
The Dubai Behavioural Insights Lab was unveiled during the anniversary celebrations as an applied research platform for designing effective policies to improve quality of life and government performance.
Global Reach and Knowledge Sharing
Internationally, MBRSG has positioned itself as a global leadership school, sharing UAE's government administration experiences with 45 countries. It has qualified 1,128 international government leaders who serve as role models in future government work.
Since its inception, MBRSG has trained 2,203 government leaders from 42 local and federal entities in specialised programmes tailored to their strategic needs. These efforts highlight MBRSG's vital role in nurturing national leadership.
Commitment to Excellence
Dr Ali bin Sebaa Al Marri congratulated graduates, stating that this milestone reaffirms MBRSG’s commitment to investing in people and empowering them according to H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid’s vision. The School bridges research with practice, positioning UAE as a hub for public sector excellence.
Abdulla Ali bin Zayed Al Falasi noted that after twenty years since its founding, MBRSG stands as a testament to its success in becoming an academic hub illustrating UAE’s approach to empowering youth as drivers of sustainable development.

The School published over 600 scientific studies and research papers while establishing over 115 strategic partnerships with local and international entities. These efforts reflect its commitment to advancing government ecosystems through knowledge sharing and collaboration.
MBRSG remains focused on fostering innovation in public administration, generating knowledge for decision-making, and empowering national leaders to spearhead change aligned with We the UAE 2031 vision and UAE Centennial Plan 2071 goals.
