Mohammed Bin Rashid And Finland's Prime Minister Explore New Avenues For Cooperation
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, recently met with Finland's Prime Minister, Petteri Orpo. The meeting took place at Za’abeel Palace in Dubai. It focused on exploring new areas for collaboration between the UAE and Finland to advance shared development goals.
The discussions highlighted the UAE's desire to strengthen ties with Finland across various sectors. His Highness emphasised the importance of enhancing cooperation in education, healthcare, technology, renewable energy, and telecommunications. He also stressed the need to support private sector initiatives in both countries to unlock new opportunities.
Sheikh Mohammed expressed pride in the longstanding diplomatic relations between the UAE and Finland, which have spanned five decades. He reaffirmed the UAE’s commitment to deepening these ties by identifying new avenues for strategic partnerships. The meeting was attended by several key figures from Dubai's leadership.
The UAE is keen on supporting Finnish companies that have chosen it as their regional hub. His Highness noted that the country is committed to fostering their growth and expansion. He also welcomed more Finnish businesses looking to establish a presence in the region.
