UAE and Kyrgyz Republic Leaders Praise Friendship, Eye Future Cooperation at Summit
At the World Governments Summit 2024 in Dubai, under the theme ‘Shaping Future Governments’, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, held a significant meeting with Sadyr Zhaparov, President of the Kyrgyz Republic. This encounter underscored the deep-rooted friendship and mutual commitment between the UAE and the Kyrgyz Republic to further enhance bilateral relations.
The discussions focused on exploring avenues to advance cooperation across various sectors. Both leaders acknowledged the summit's crucial role in driving governmental agility, efficiency, and proactivity amidst evolving developmental and economic landscapes. They also discussed optimizing investments to secure a prosperous future.

President Sadyr Zhaparov expressed admiration for the UAE's developmental achievements and reiterated the Kyrgyz Republic's dedication to bolstering ties in strategic areas, aligning with both nations' visions. He praised the organization of this year's summit for its contribution to fostering new visions and facilitating international cooperation aimed at improving government functions and ensuring a brighter future.
The meeting saw the presence of notable figures including H.H. Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Ports and Borders Security Council; Mohammad bin Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs and Chairman of the World Governments Summit; and Abdilatif Jumabaev, Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the UAE.
The 11th edition of the World Governments Summit has successfully convened 85 international organizations, 140 governments, over 25 heads of state, 700 leaders of major international companies, and more than 4,000 experts. This assembly underscores the summit's pivotal role in shaping future governments through enhanced agility, efficiency, and international cooperation.
