Mohammed Bin Rashid Housing Establishment Hosts Housing Innovation Forum To Promote Sustainable Solutions

The Mohammed Bin Rashid Housing Establishment (MBRHE) hosted the Housing Innovation Forum as part of "UAE Innovates 2025". This event aimed to highlight new solutions in housing, focusing on digital transformation and sustainability. It brought together experts and decision-makers from both public and private sectors for discussions and workshops.

Innovation, sustainability, and technology are central to MBRHE's strategy. The establishment aims to create smart housing environments that meet citizens' needs and improve their quality of life. The forum aligns with this vision by promoting pioneering housing services.

Housing Innovation Forum by MBRHE Launched

Mariam Abdullah Al Suwaidi, Director of Strategy and Development Management at MBRHE, emphasised the importance of innovation in housing. She stated, "Innovation in the housing sector is a fundamental driver for sustainability and an enhanced quality of life. Through the Housing Innovation Forum, we seek to anticipate the future and adopt the latest technologies and smart solutions that enhance the efficiency of housing projects and contribute to the realisation of Dubai’s Urban Plan 2040."

A panel discussion titled "Housing and Ambition: Designing Future Solutions" featured a group of distinguished speakers. They shared insights on how innovative strategies can shape future housing developments.

The forum included two specialised workshops aimed at fostering creative thinking for future housing solutions. The first workshop, "Housing Horizons – Innovative Solutions for a Flexible and Sustainable Future," focused on adaptive strategies for changing urban needs. The second workshop, "The Future of Housing – Inspired by Youth Aspirations," explored how young people's views can influence future projects.

Various stakeholders attended the forum, including real estate developers, engineers, technology experts, academics, and entrepreneurs. Their participation was crucial in shaping ideas for smart and sustainable housing development.

The event underscored MBRHE's commitment to advancing Dubai’s Urban Plan 2040 through innovative approaches in housing. By integrating technology with sustainability efforts, they aim to enhance living conditions while addressing future urban challenges.
