Mohammed Bin Rashid Arabic Language Award Invites Nominations For Its 10th Edition Celebrating A Decade Of Excellence
The Mohammed Bin Rashid Arabic Language Award, part of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives, is now accepting nominations for its 10th edition. This milestone celebrates a decade of dedication to promoting the Arabic language globally. The theme, "10 Editions: One Enduring Legacy," underscores a sustained journey of impactful initiatives enriching the Arab world's cultural and linguistic landscape.
Since its inception, the award has received over 17,200 submissions and honoured 90 winners worldwide. These include individuals and institutions that have significantly advanced the Arabic language. It serves as a global platform celebrating excellence in education, technology, media, and culture related to Arabic.

Bilal Al Budoor, Secretary-General of the award, stated, "What the Award has achieved over the past decade reflects the vision and leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, whose unwavering support has made the empowerment of the Arabic language a national and cultural priority."
The award invites nominations from individuals and organisations worldwide through its official website. Categories include innovation in education, scientific research, media, publishing, and technology. Nominations open on 10 November 2025 for four months. Submissions must be original works not previously awarded or competed elsewhere during the same year.
Each edition has enhanced Arabic's use in digital platforms, education, media, and research. As it enters its second decade, new initiatives will further embed Arabic in global knowledge transformation. The award continues to drive innovation in Arabic language education and digital transformation.
Bilal Al Budoor also mentioned that Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid’s vision has been realised through significant achievements. The award positions Arabic as a dynamic language capable of expressing contemporary thought while engaging with modern scientific developments.
Strict Evaluation Criteria
All entries must meet strict evaluation criteria to ensure quality. Submissions should be electronically submitted via the official platform. They must not have previously won or participated in other awards during the same year. This commitment ensures adherence to high standards of evaluation.
The 10th edition signifies renewed dedication to continuity and lasting impact. It aims to advance Arabic's role in education and technology further. The award remains a driving force for innovation in global cultural dialogue involving the Arabic language.
