Mohammed Bin Rashid Approves Housing Allocations For 2,971 Citizens Valued At Over AED 2 Billion
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, highlighted the UAE's dedication to prioritising housing for Emirati citizens. Under the leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, housing remains a key national focus. Adequate housing is seen as essential for family stability and social cohesion.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid stated that the UAE is committed to developing a comprehensive housing system. This system aims to meet citizens' needs with high-quality standards and within short timeframes. He noted that Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed's attention to the housing sector reflects a national approach focused on community well-being and dignified living conditions.

The continuous development of the housing ecosystem is a priority in the UAE. The aim is to ensure citizens have access to modern, high-quality housing solutions nationwide. This commitment involves ongoing monitoring and improvements in the sector.
From January to the end of the third quarter of 2025, the Zayed Housing Programme issued 2,971 housing approvals. These approvals totalled AED2,069,200,000 in value. Among these were 522 grants directed by H.H. the UAE President, amounting to AED355 million.
The programme also approved 595 government housing loans worth AED246.2 million. Additionally, there were 24 approvals for government housing grants or benefits valued at AED19 million. Furthermore, 1,830 housing finance approvals were issued, totalling AED1.449 billion.
Since July 2022 until September 2025, the Zayed Housing Programme has issued 11,298 approvals overall. The total value of these approvals is nearing AED9 billion.
The UAE's focus on enhancing its housing sector demonstrates its commitment to improving citizens' quality of life through strategic planning and investment in infrastructure.
