His Highness Sheikh Mohammed stressed that citizen wellbeing is central to development plans and government work. He noted that it serves as a key measure of success in various sectors like jobs, manufacturing, infrastructure, and services. Ensuring high living standards for citizens remains a top priority.

For those in the housing grant category, the projects include 606 homes in Al Yalayis 5 and 432 homes in Wadi Al Amardi. Additionally, there are plans for 398 homes in Al Awir 1, 200 homes in Hatta's Makan area, 120 homes in Oud Al Muteena, and 67 homes in rural areas of Dubai.

Sheikh Mohammed highlighted that major housing initiatives are part of a broader plan to meet citizens' aspirations for stability and good living standards. These efforts support national strategies aimed at increasing prosperity and shaping a promising future for UAE residents.

Omar Hamad Bu Shehab, CEO of the Mohammed bin Rashid Housing Establishment, stated that these projects reflect leadership's vision to provide exceptional living conditions through integrated residential environments. The focus is on comfort and safety while meeting all citizen needs.

Long-term Urban Planning

The Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan guides these housing programmes to address future needs through efficient space planning. The plan ensures sustainable land use with diverse housing options featuring green spaces and recreational facilities.

Bu Shehab added that the housing project plan is part of ongoing efforts by the Mohammed bin Rashid Housing Establishment. These initiatives aim to cater to future Emirati housing needs within integrated communities using top urban planning standards.

The emphasis is on creating diverse communities with high-quality living conditions. This includes access to green spaces, recreational facilities, and commercial centres to enhance public wellbeing over the next two decades.

"Housing programmes for citizens represent a top priority," said His Highness Sheikh Mohammed. "We are committed to ensuring that our people have the best living standards and all the support they need to foster stable family environments and community wellbeing."
