Mohammed Bin Rashid Aerospace Hub Completes First Phase Of Its Aerospace Supply Chain Zone In Dubai

The Mohammed Bin Rashid Aerospace Hub (MBRAH) has completed the first phase of its Aerospace Supply Chain zone. This area, covering 1,291,000 square feet, includes 11 facilities. The development addresses the high demand from aviation businesses wanting to operate at MBRAH due to its advanced infrastructure. The zone supports engine shops, component and landing gear maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services.

Further expansion is underway with an additional 1,721,000 square feet of facilities being developed. This includes the Suppliers Complex, the region's first vertical aerospace complex. It aims to attract startups and small to medium enterprises (SMEs). By Q2 2026, this complex will offer 88 leasable units across three levels for maintenance service providers and aerospace companies.

Tahnoon Saif, CEO of MBRAH, highlighted the increasing demand for aviation services. "The demand for aviation-related services, particularly MROs, has significantly increased in recent years," he stated. He noted that interest from companies looking to establish or expand their operations at MBRAH is strong.

MBRAH is strategically positioned within Dubai South and offers a free-zone destination for global aerospace players. It provides high-level connectivity for leading airlines, private jet companies, MROs, and related industries. The hub also hosts maintenance centres alongside training and education campuses.

The completion of Al Maktoum International Airport is expected to further boost demand for aviation services at MBRAH. Tahnoon Saif mentioned that MBRAH is ready to meet future needs with both existing and upcoming facilities. "We are fully prepared to meet the needs of these companies through both our completed and upcoming facilities," he said.

MBRAH remains committed to investing in advanced infrastructure and services. This aligns with leadership's vision to establish Dubai as a leading aviation capital. The hub aims to strengthen engineering industries in support of this goal.

The Aerospace Supply Chain zone's development reflects MBRAH's dedication to fostering growth in the aviation sector. By providing state-of-the-art facilities and solutions, it supports Dubai’s ambition to be a global leader in aviation.
