Mohammed Bin Rashid Aerospace Hub Officially Opens TIM Aerospace’s New State-of-the-Art Facility

The Mohammed bin Rashid Aerospace Hub (MBRAH) at Dubai South has unveiled Tim Aerospace's new hangar. This facility is one of the largest independent MRO hangars in the Middle East. It can accommodate up to 12 narrow-body or five wide-body aircraft, excluding the A-380. The inauguration event was attended by key figures from Dubai Aviation City Corporation and Tim Aerospace.

This new facility enhances Dubai's status as a global aviation centre. It offers premium, cost-effective maintenance services for various commercial aircraft. "The inauguration of Tim Aerospace’s new facility further strengthens Dubai’s position as a global aviation hub and a preferred destination for leading aerospace companies," said Tahnoon Saif, CEO of MBRAH.

New TIM Aerospace Facility Opens in Dubai

Tim Aerospace aims to expand its service capabilities in the Middle East with this milestone. Founder Timor Shah Shahab remarked, "This milestone marks a new chapter in our journey to expand Tim Aerospace’s footprint and service capabilities in the Middle East." The facility is designed to set high standards in efficiency, safety, and reliability.

MBRAH provides top-tier connectivity for aerospace players worldwide. It serves as a free-zone destination for airlines, private jets, MROs, and related industries. Located within Dubai South, it also hosts maintenance centres and educational campuses. This aligns with the emirate's vision of becoming a leading aviation hub.

The opening ceremony saw attendance from Khalifa Al Zaffin, Executive Chairman of Dubai Aviation City Corporation and Dubai South, along with senior executives from both organisations. Representatives from major airlines were also present to witness this significant development.

MBRAH aims to create an integrated ecosystem that supports innovation and sustainable growth across the aviation value chain. This initiative reinforces its commitment to operational excellence within the industry.

The new hangar at MBRAH will cater to increasing demand for world-class MRO services. It is expected to play a crucial role in boosting engineering industries within the region.
