The 8th of January 2025 marks the 18th anniversary of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi's appointment as Crown Prince of Fujairah. This appointment was made by H.H. Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, on the same date in 2007.
