Mohamed Bin Zayed Water Initiative Partners With World Bank To Combat Global Water Scarcity Challenges
The Mohamed bin Zayed Water Initiative and the World Bank have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to tackle global water scarcity. This agreement, signed by Ayesha Al-Ateeqi and Ousmane Dione at the World Governments Summit 2025, aims to enhance water security worldwide. "Jointly we will be promoting sustainable water management practices in water-stressed regions around the world," he said. The collaboration will focus on innovations in irrigation, water reuse, and desalination.
