Mohamed Bin Zayed Award For Best Teacher Introduces Executive Educational Excellence Pioneers Programme For Educators

The Mohamed bin Zayed Award for Best Teacher, in collaboration with the Emirates College for Advanced Education (ECAE), has introduced the "Executive Educational Excellence Pioneers" programme. This initiative aims to empower award-winning teachers by equipping them with top-tier educational skills and practices. The programme is part of the broader "Erth Zayed Philanthropies" awards, focusing on educational transformation.

Dr. Hamad Ahmed Al Darmaki, Secretary-General of the award, highlighted the UAE's commitment to advancing education through this programme. He stated that it adopts a comprehensive framework to elevate teachers as catalysts for positive change. Dr. Al Darmaki said, "The programme seeks to equip educators with the skills, knowledge, and mindset to lead transformational change, enabling them to design sustainable educational solutions, harness cutting-edge technologies, and cultivate advanced analytical thinking."

New Programme for Award-Winning Educators Launched

The programme welcomed teachers from various countries to Abu Dhabi for an intensive training visit. This visit included specialised educational training over two days with interactive sessions and practical workshops. Participants also engaged in cultural experiences at the National Archives and Library and the Louvre Abu Dhabi, enriching their understanding of UAE’s cultural identity.

Dr. May Laith Al Taee, Vice Chancellor of ECAE, emphasised the programme’s role in shaping future education leaders. She noted its focus on modern teaching practices supported by technology and AI. Dr. Al Taee remarked, "The programme exemplifies the UAE’s forward-looking approach and the leadership’s vision for empowering educators and shaping the future of education."

This four-month initiative comprises two phases designed to develop specific professional competencies tailored for award-winning teachers. It empowers them to apply their knowledge effectively within classrooms and school environments. The programme aims to build dynamic learning communities that inspire future generations.

Dr. Al Taee further explained that the programme supports teachers' roles in Arab school communities while redefining educational excellence. She stated that their collaboration with the Mohamed bin Zayed Award for Best Teacher aims for a profound impact on education systems locally and regionally.

Cultural Integration and Educational Philosophy

The training visit was not only about academic preparation but also included cultural integration activities. These experiences allowed participants to engage with concepts of heritage, knowledge, and openness—key elements of the award’s educational philosophy.

The Executive Educational Excellence Pioneers Programme reflects a vision that extends beyond recognition into a developmental platform supporting teachers in advancing education through evidence-based approaches that deliver measurable results.
