Misk Global Forum 2023 Concludes With Participation From Over 27,000 Beneficiaries Worldwide
The Misk Global Forum's eighth edition recently concluded, attracting over 27,000 participants, including 16,000 virtual attendees from 82 countries. This year's event took place for the first time in Mohammed Bin Salman Nonprofit City, known as Misk City. The forum saw active involvement from global leaders, decision-makers, thinkers, and youth.
Throughout the forum, more than 300 speakers enriched 150 sessions and 28 workshops. These sessions aimed to enhance connections with young people and creative talents both in Saudi Arabia and worldwide. The virtual platform played a crucial role in expanding knowledge and empowerment opportunities.

During the event, 15 agreements were signed to support youth, communities, and nonprofit youth organisations. Collaborations with knowledge partners led to workshops on digital transformation in education, innovation tools in entrepreneurship, and future employment strategies. These initiatives aim to help young people adapt to global changes effectively.
Key discussions at the forum emphasised the significance of creative industries and arts as essential components of sustainable development. Experts highlighted that investing in arts and culture can unlock young people's potential, directing it towards meaningful economic contributions.
Misk CEO Dr. Badr Al Badr described this year's forum as the largest regarding speaker numbers and the youngest concerning their age. He noted that this focus underscores a commitment to empowering youth as future leaders. Dr. Al Badr mentioned that Misk has supported over 7 million young individuals since its inception.
The forum is one of Misk's key initiatives launched ambitiously in 2016. It continues to empower Saudi youth by providing a leading platform that equips them with tools and skills necessary for achieving their ambitions.
Investing in Future Generations
Since its beginning, the forum has consistently reiterated its mission to invest in youth as a primary development factor. This investment enables young people to actively contribute to building a promising future both locally and internationally.
The event also highlighted enhancing leadership skills among youth to enable them to become drivers of change. This approach aligns with Misk's ongoing efforts to prepare young individuals for leadership roles in various sectors.
The forum's success reflects its role as a catalyst for empowering Saudi youth by fostering an environment where they can thrive and make significant contributions globally.
