Taif Enhances Miqat Mosques To Welcome Ramadan Umrah Pilgrims
In preparation for the upcoming holy month of Ramadan, the General Department of Mosques in Taif has completed preparations at the two Miqat mosques located in Wadi Al-Sayl Al-Kabeer (Qarn Al-Manazil) and Wadi Mahram. These efforts are aimed at accommodating Umrah performers who will be visiting the Grand Holy Mosque. A combination of dedicated staff and technical committees has been instrumental in ensuring that the Miqats are fully prepared, working in close collaboration with maintenance and cleaning institutions to enhance the mosque facilities.
With Ramadan approaching, these mosques are set to welcome a considerable number of visitors, both from within the Kingdom and neighboring countries. The facilities have been designed to handle the expected influx of Ramadan crowds comfortably. Among the amenities provided are designated areas for changing Ihram garments, ample toilets, and ablution facilities. Additionally, conveniently located shopping areas have been set up to offer essential supplies for pilgrims. A notable feature of the Miqats' design is the inclusion of parking spaces, thoughtfully planned to accommodate vehicles of various sizes.

The General Department of Mosques has highlighted that all necessary provisions have been made to support government agencies involved in facilitating a smooth pilgrimage experience. These agencies include the municipality, health services, public security, the Red Crescent, and the electricity company. Representatives from these organizations have been provided with appropriate accommodation to ensure they can effectively serve the pilgrims.
This comprehensive preparation underscores the commitment of Taif's General Department of Mosques to ensuring that Umrah performers have a seamless and spiritually fulfilling experience during their visit in Ramadan. The collaboration between various institutions to prepare these mosques highlights a concerted effort to cater to the needs of pilgrims and enhance their religious journey.
