Islamic Affairs Ministry Delivers 1.5 Million Services To Pilgrims In Hajj Season
The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance provided around 1,485,000 religious services during this year's Hajj season. These services benefited over 2 million pilgrims, Umrah performers, and visitors from the start of Dhu al-Qi'dah in 1445 AH.
More than 600 male and female preachers and translators participated in guiding pilgrims. They used the latest technologies to educate and assist pilgrims in various locations in Makkah and Madinah, including the central area and the Holy Sites.

The ministry's preachers delivered speeches after prayers in domestic pilgrim camps during the days of Tashreeq. They aimed to raise awareness among pilgrims and teach them Hajj rituals step by step. Daily lectures and lessons were also conducted in mosques throughout the Hajj period.
Minister Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al Alsheikh expressed gratitude to the preachers for their contributions. He thanked them for answering inquiries at Masjid Al-Taneem, Masjid al-Ji'rranah, central area mosques in Makkah, and pilgrim camps in Mina Holy Site.
An elite group of preachers was selected for this mission. They were well-versed in Hajj and Umrah rituals according to the Qur’an and Sunnah. Translators were available to assist in international languages.
Preachers also answered inquiries through a toll-free automated response number (8002451000), benefiting more than 1,325,000 pilgrims. This service ensured that pilgrims received accurate information promptly.
The ministry's efforts included promoting values of moderation and cautioning against extremism. This was achieved through educational activities conducted by preachers using advanced devices.
The comprehensive guidance provided by the ministry covered various aspects of religious practice during Hajj. This included directing pilgrims at key locations to ensure they performed their rituals correctly.
The use of technology played a significant role in reaching out to a larger audience effectively. It enabled preachers to provide timely assistance and address any concerns raised by pilgrims.
The ministry's initiative ensured that all pilgrims had access to necessary religious guidance throughout their journey. This support was crucial in helping them perform their rituals with confidence and understanding.
