Ministry Of State For Federal National Council Affairs Highlights Smart Digital Platforms At GITEX Global 2024

The Ministry of State for Federal National Council Affairs (MFNCA) is actively participating in GITEX Global 2024 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, which continues until 18th October. The ministry is highlighting its advanced digital platforms and systems, such as the ‘Smart Communication Platform,’ ‘Innovation Platform,’ ‘Digital Service Platform,’ and both ‘Remote Voting’ and ‘Electronic Voting’ systems.

These initiatives are part of the MFNCA's broader strategy to support digital transformation efforts in the UAE. The ministry aims to foster innovation, enhance task management for employees, and promote effective use of digital services. Tariq Hilal Lootah, Under-Secretary of the Ministry, stated that their involvement in GITEX Global 2024 underscores their dedication to advancing the UAE government's digital transformation goals.

The MFNCA is presenting its ‘Smart Communication Platform,’ a comprehensive electronic archive for media materials. This platform includes images, videos, press releases, guides, publications, and other media files related to events organised by the Ministry. It enables employees to easily access and share relevant files with internal and external stakeholders.

Additionally, the ministry is showcasing its ‘Innovation Platform.’ This platform is designed to gather suggestions and creative ideas that can enhance the working environment within the ministry. It aims to cultivate a culture of innovation among employees through transformative activities and resources.

The ‘Digital Services Platform’ is another key feature being highlighted by the MFNCA. This integrated internal electronic platform offers all employee-related services in one place. By converting these services into smart electronic formats accessible through this platform, operational efficiency is significantly improved.

The ministry's participation also includes showcasing electronic voting systems designed for Federal National Council elections. These systems provide an innovative digital solution for voting processes. The remote voting system allows users to participate in elections from anywhere globally using designated digital applications.

The electronic voting device stands out as a significant technical achievement by the ministry. It facilitates voting at polling stations across the Emirates while adhering to information security standards. This ensures integrity, transparency, and accuracy in elections by protecting personal data and maintaining cybersecurity standards in the UAE.
