Ministry Of Media Launches Second Edition Of Global Harmony Initiative To Celebrate Cultural Diversity

The Ministry of Media is set to begin the second edition of the "Global Harmony 2" initiative on Sunday. This event is part of the Quality of Life Program, aligning with Saudi Vision 2030. It aims to spotlight the lives of residents in Saudi Arabia, covering their professional and family lives, social and recreational activities, economic contributions, and success stories.

In collaboration with the General Entertainment Authority, the Ministry will host events during the Riyadh Season. These events will start on Sunday and focus on residents of Indian nationality in Saudi Arabia. The launch will feature cultural, artistic, and folkloric performances with participation from major Indian media outlets.

Global Harmony Initiative Launch by Ministry of Media

The initiative seeks to display the diversity and richness of various cultures within Saudi society. It highlights how these cultures have successfully integrated and harmonised with local communities. Efforts by both public and private sectors to enhance life quality in Saudi cities are also emphasised.

A total of 14 different cultures will be represented in this initiative. These include India, the Philippines, Indonesia, Egypt, Pakistan, Yemen, Sudan, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, Palestine, Bangladesh, Uganda, and Ethiopia. The events will feature concerts and traveling performances that celebrate these diverse cultures.

The initiative offers a range of family-friendly cultural and entertainment activities. Traditional foods from various countries will be available alongside a variety of handicrafts. Citizens and residents from different nationalities are expected to attend these vibrant events.

Prominent media outlets from each represented country will cover the events. This ensures wide visibility for the initiative's efforts to promote cultural harmony within Saudi Arabia.

The "Global Harmony 2" initiative underscores ongoing efforts to improve life quality across Saudi cities. By celebrating cultural diversity through engaging activities and performances, it supports the broader goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
