Ministry Of Human Resources And Social Development Recognised As Best Arab Ministry For 2024

The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (HRSD) in Saudi Arabia has been honoured as the Best Arab Ministry at the 2024 Arab Government Excellence Award ceremony. This event took place at the League of Arab States headquarters in Egypt. The award acknowledges HRSD's significant contributions to advancing Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, particularly in enhancing the labour market and social development.

Minister Ahmed Al-Rajhi expressed that this recognition underscores the ministry's dedication to achieving Vision 2030 goals. He praised the ministry's efforts in creating a favourable work environment and making the labour market more attractive. Al-Rajhi also highlighted the dedication of HRSD staff in advancing both the labour market and society through skilled national talent and strategic partnerships.

The minister emphasised HRSD's pioneering role in shaping labour policies for public and private sectors, contributing significantly to social development initiatives aligned with Saudi government policies. He noted that HRSD is committed to enhancing its operating model and organisational structure to improve effectiveness and balance workloads.

Al-Rajhi mentioned that HRSD has received several international and regional awards, including the King Abdulaziz Quality Award, Arab Government Excellence Award, and European Excellence Model. These accolades reflect HRSD's commitment to excellence in management practices, services, and digital technologies aligned with global standards.

Looking forward, Al-Rajhi stated that HRSD will continue developing the labour market through sustainable Saudization strategies. The ministry plans to launch new programs integrating economic growth with social development. It remains committed to digital transformation, updating regulations, and empowering the workforce through innovative training programs.

The ministry has already achieved significant milestones by implementing a digital transformation program to automate processes and services. Regular assessments based on advanced performance metrics ensure continuous improvement. The Business Intelligence Center was launched to utilise artificial intelligence for decision-making and beneficiary support.

HRSD encourages innovation through platforms like "Mulhem" for governance of creative ideas. It has hosted major events such as the International Labor Market Conference, Global CSR Forum, and 2022 Conference on Innovation and Future Government Work.
