Ministry Of Health And Prevention Achieves Excellence In Health Tech Innovation At Entrepreneur Middle East Awards
The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) in the UAE has been honoured with the Excellence in Health Tech Innovation Award at the Tech Innovation Awards by Entrepreneur Middle East. This accolade highlights MoHAP's leadership in digital transformation, showcasing the UAE's dedication to using advanced technology to improve government services. The award recognises MoHAP's innovative projects, such as the e-services initiative, MoHAP app, Artificial Intelligence Centre, and Zero Trust Project.
These initiatives are part of a broader strategy aimed at enhancing government service quality, promoting sustainability, and preparing for future digital advancements. The award ceremony took place in Dubai, gathering participants from various technology projects across the Middle East. This achievement underscores the UAE's position as a global leader in modernising public services and aligning procedures with advanced innovations.

Abdullah Ahli, Acting Assistant Under-Secretary for Support Services Sector, emphasised that improving customer satisfaction and advancing digital transformation through innovative projects are strategic priorities for MoHAP. He stated that this recognition will further drive the Ministry's efforts to expand its initiatives and increase the adoption of smart solutions, aligning with the UAE Digital Government Strategy 2025.
Ahli added that MoHAP is dedicated to implementing innovative ideas and development programs in line with the UAE's strategic vision and leadership directives. "The Ministry is committed to implementing innovative ideas, projects, and development programs in line with the UAE's strategic vision and the directives of its wise leadership. Therefore, the Ministry will spare no effort to leverage digital technologies, including artificial intelligence, to enhance the health sector's performance and support its ongoing development in line with international best practices."
Hamda Al Mazmi, Acting Director of the Information Technology Department, expressed pride in receiving this prestigious award. "We are proud to see the Ministry receive this prestigious award, which highlights our excellence in digital transformation and reinforces our competitive position. The updated smart application has significantly increased usage of our digital services by enhancing accessibility, improving the customer journey, and boosting overall satisfaction. Additionally, the Artificial Intelligence Center has been a key factor in this success."

Al Mazmi also highlighted MoHAP’s commitment to understanding customer needs through regular surveys about their digital services.
