Hajj Ministry Inspects Tiwafa Company’s Readiness For Southeast Asian Pilgrims

The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah for Hajj Affairs, Dr. Ayed Al-Ghuwaynem, along with several ministry officials, conducted an inspection tour of the Tiwafa Company for Pilgrims of Southeast Asian Countries "Mashareq" in Makkah. The visit aimed to assess the company's preparations for the Hajj season 1445 H.

During the visit, Dr. Al-Ghuwaynem received a visual presentation on the company's performance, including its staff, residential buildings, and camps under its supervision. The delegation reviewed statistical data on contracts concluded so far and the distribution of the Nusuk card. They also evaluated the company’s readiness to receive pilgrims in Arafa, Muzdalifah, and Mina.

Reviewing Tiwafa’s Hajj Prep

The delegation was briefed on the challenges facing Hajj companies. Following the visit, Dr. Al-Ghuwaynem expressed satisfaction with Mashareq's performance. The company is expected to receive more than 500,000 pilgrims during the first three weeks of Dhul-Qi’dah.

Dr. Al-Ghuwaynem commended Mashareq's efforts in accommodating and transporting pilgrims in Madinah and other holy sites. He noted that the Nusuk card is now recognized by all government agencies as an official identity for pilgrims.

Adnan bin Hussein Mandoura, Chairman of Mashareq’s Board of Directors, affirmed the company's commitment to utilizing all mechanical, human, and technical resources to provide pilgrims with comfort and tranquility. This commitment aims to enable pilgrims to fulfill their Hajj obligations in an atmosphere of faith.
