Minister Of Media Salman Al-Dossary Reviews Al Arabiya's Readiness At New Riyadh Headquarters
Minister of Media Salman Al-Dossary recently visited Al Arabiya's new headquarters in Riyadh. This visit followed the complete relocation of the network's television channels, digital platforms, and all related functions. During his visit, Al-Dossary met with the editorial and technical leadership to discuss work progress and media operations plans. He also reviewed content production mechanisms across various departments.
The Minister toured the studios of Al Hadath and Al Arabiya, along with the News Resources Department. He was briefed on advanced technologies such as robotic cameras and virtual reality features. These are part of three high-tech studios equipped with cutting-edge control rooms. A team of 230 professionals operates these systems, enhancing the network's ability to cover events swiftly and effectively.

Al-Dossary received information on future expansion plans for the network. These include constructing five new studios with next-generation technologies aimed at improving programming quality and news content style. The development also includes five new control rooms and two newsrooms to meet modern media production needs.
Minister Al-Dossary emphasized that Al Arabiya has been pivotal in raising Arab awareness since its launch over 22 years ago. The network maintains a rational approach, avoiding populism and sensationalism. He highlighted that relocating to Riyadh is not just a geographical shift but a strategic move positioning the network at the heart of regional developments.
Director General Mamdouh AlMuhaini described this relocation as a strategic transformation aligned with Saudi Arabia's ambition to enhance its media presence globally. The move facilitates direct engagement with decision-making hubs and access to top talent, fostering innovation and growth opportunities.
