Minister Of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal Bin Farhan To Lead Saudi Arabia's Delegation At UN General Assembly

Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, left for New York City on Friday evening. He is leading Saudi Arabia's delegation at the 80th United Nations General Assembly session. The delegation includes Princess Reema bint Bandar bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, the Saudi Ambassador to the USA, and other key officials.

The Kingdom's delegation also features Adel Al-Jubeir, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Climate Envoy, and Faisal Alibrahim, Minister of Economy and Planning. Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Rabeeah, an advisor at the Royal Court and Supervisor General of KSrelief, is part of the team as well.

Saudi Arabia will host several initiatives during the UN General Assembly session. These initiatives aim to boost regional and global security and stability. The focus will be on diplomatic, humanitarian, and development efforts.

The Kingdom will chair a high-level conference addressing the peaceful settlement of the Palestinian issue. This includes implementing a two-state solution at the leaders' level. A ministerial meeting for the Global Alliance supporting this solution will also take place.

The Foreign Minister and other officials will engage in various official meetings. These discussions aim to enhance international multilateral action and address regional developments. They will also focus on establishing international peace foundations.

Saudi Arabia's delegation will participate in celebrating the UN's 80th anniversary. This event marks a significant milestone for international cooperation and peace efforts.

Bilateral Meetings with Global Representatives

Bilateral meetings are scheduled with representatives from friendly countries. Discussions with officials from international organizations attending High-Level Week are also planned.

The goal is to coordinate joint actions to achieve Sustainable Development Goals. These meetings aim to strengthen ties and foster collaboration on global issues.

Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Rassi, Deputy Minister for International Multilateral Affairs, joins as General Supervisor of Public Diplomacy Deputyship. Ambassador Dr. Abdulaziz Alwasil represents Saudi Arabia at the United Nations in New York.

These engagements reflect Saudi Arabia's commitment to promoting peace and stability worldwide through active participation in multilateral forums.
