Minister Of Environment Eng. Abdulrahman Alfadley Inaugurates Saudi Agricultural Exhibition In Riyadh

The 41st Saudi Agricultural Exhibition is set to begin at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center from October 21 to 24, 2024. Minister of Environment, Water, and Agriculture Eng. Abdulrahman bin Abdulmohsen Alfadley will officially open the event. This exhibition will highlight significant investment opportunities and showcase the latest technologies and innovations in agriculture.

Participants from around 29 countries will join the exhibition, including approximately 370 local and international agricultural companies. The event will attract a wide range of specialists such as agricultural engineers, farm owners, traders, and other interested parties from both within Saudi Arabia and abroad.

The exhibition will cover various sectors including agriculture, organic food, poultry, livestock, dairy products, aquaculture, food processing and packaging, as well as modern agricultural solutions and systems. A series of scientific dialogue sessions will also take place during the event.

One session titled "Technological Initiatives in the Agricultural Field in the Kingdom: Achieving Self-Sufficiency and Food Security" will explore new technological advancements. Another session will discuss sustainable and diversified agriculture in Saudi Arabia by highlighting success stories and challenges faced by stakeholders.

A dedicated session will review key commercial opportunities in agricultural investment along with their attractive factors. Additionally, discussions will focus on alliances aimed at promoting technology adoption within the agricultural sector.

Another important topic to be covered is the role of agricultural meteorology in reducing the impacts of weather phenomena on agricultural production. These sessions aim to provide valuable insights into enhancing productivity and sustainability in agriculture.

The exhibition promises to be a platform for exchanging knowledge and fostering collaboration among experts from Saudi Arabia and other countries. It aims to drive innovation and growth in the agricultural sector through shared experiences and expertise.
