Minister Al-Fadhli Launches Third Annual Middle East Poultry Expo In Riyadh

The third annual Middle East Poultry Exhibition, a key event in the poultry industry's calendar, was inaugurated by Eng. Abdul Rahman bin Abdulmohsen Al-Fadhli, Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture, at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center. This year's exhibition, under the theme "Maximizing value and reducing costs: Value engineering in the poultry industry," saw an impressive international turnout, with participation from over 300 companies across 40 countries and more than 100 international experts in poultry, fodder, and animal nutrition sectors.

The event, which spanned three days, was notable for its wide international participation, which exceeded 75%. It attracted a significant number of visitors keen to explore the latest innovations and technologies presented by leading international companies. More than 800 products related to the poultry industry's supply chain were showcased, highlighting the sector's latest advancements and trends.

Middle East Poultry Expo Opens

The exhibition served as a platform for exchanging knowledge and practices within the poultry industry and related sectors. It also provided an opportunity to review investment opportunities within the Kingdom's poultry sector. This aligns with the objectives of the National Food Security Strategy, aiming to enhance the sector's contribution to the Kingdom's gross domestic product (GDP). The poultry sector in Saudi Arabia is experiencing rapid growth, supported by government initiatives to increase investment and implement high standards and good agricultural practices throughout the supply chain.

The Kingdom's commitment to maintaining high standards in poultry production ensures the safety and quality of products at all stages of supply chains. This dedication to excellence is part of a broader strategy to bolster food security and economic growth through sustainable practices and international cooperation.
