Millions Perform Prayers At Prophet's Mosque Amidst Exceptional Services

The General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque recently announced a significant influx of worshippers at the Prophet's Mosque, with over 5.9 million individuals attending in just the last week. This remarkable attendance was supported by comprehensive and high-quality services, ensuring that the large numbers of visitors could perform their prayers in an orderly and effective manner.

According to the authority's statistics, a total of 598,939 people visited the Prophet Mohammed's tomb, while 254,209 visitors had the opportunity to pray at Al-Rawdah Al-Sharifa. These figures were achieved through meticulous organizational procedures designed to manage crowd movement and schedule times for optional prayers for both men and women. Additionally, the report highlighted that 9,172 older individuals and those with disabilities availed themselves of specific services tailored to their needs last week.

The services extended to visitors were diverse and aimed at enhancing their spiritual experience. A total of 22,627 visitors utilized guidance services, and 157,464 took advantage of translation services to better understand the sermons and prayers. The Prophet's Mosque's library was another focal point, with 12,884 individuals seeking information there.

In a gesture of hospitality, 153,068 gifts were distributed among the visitors. Transportation services facilitated the movement of 61,207 worshippers, ensuring their comfort during their visit. Moreover, in keeping with the tradition of providing for those fasting, 180,880 bottles of Zamzam water and 226,193 Iftar meals were distributed in designated corridors of the mosque.

This extensive provision of services underscores the authority's commitment to ensuring that worshippers can perform their religious duties in a serene and facilitated environment.
