Military And Civilian Aircraft Showcase Aerial Displays In Riyadh For 94th National Day Celebration

Riyadh's skies were filled with vibrant aerial displays to mark the 94th National Day. The General Entertainment Authority, in collaboration with various government and private organisations, orchestrated the event. A large crowd gathered in Al-Qayrawan neighbourhood to witness the spectacle, which began with an aircraft from the Directorate of Public Security carrying the Saudi Arabian flag.

Following this, helicopters from the Ministry of the National Guard took to the skies. They were succeeded by aircraft from the Royal Saudi Air Force under the Ministry of Defense. Civilian planes from Saudi Arabian Airlines, including a Boeing 787 and an Airbus A320 from flyadeal, also participated in the display.

The military aircraft formed the number 94 in the sky over Riyadh. This was followed by a performance from the Saudi Hawks aerobatic team flying Hawk aircraft in green and white. Their complex aerial formations highlighted the advanced skills of Saudi pilots.

The airshow continued with displays featuring Typhoon, F-15 SA, Tornado, and F-15 C aircraft. These planes flew over the showground carrying flags and banners welcoming spectators to this annual celebration.

The event saw participation from numerous entities including the Royal Guard Presidency, Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Interior, and Ministry of National Guard. Other contributors included the Presidency of State Security and General Authority of Civil Aviation.

Matarat Company, Saudi Air Navigation Services, and Saudi Aviation Club also played roles in organising this grand event. Additionally, Saudi Arabian Airlines and flyadeal were key participants in showcasing civilian aviation prowess.

Broadcasting to a Wider Audience

The Saudi Broadcasting Authority ensured that those unable to attend could still experience the event. They broadcasted the main National Day show live on Saudi television, allowing viewers across the nation to join in celebrating this significant occasion.

This year's airshow was a testament to both military precision and civilian aviation excellence. It brought together various sectors to create a memorable display for all attendees and viewers alike.
