Middle East Iron & Steel Conference 2025 Set To Begin In Dubai On 17 November With Global Experts
Dubai is set to host the Middle East Iron & Steel Conference 2025 from 17th to 19th November at Madinat Jumeirah. This event will bring together over 1,500 officials and experts from 60 countries to discuss the steel industry's future. The conference coincides with a period where construction and industrial projects in the Middle East and North Africa are valued at over US$3 trillion.
The region's demand for steel is expected to exceed 65 million tonnes annually by 2027, according to Fastmarkets, the event organiser. This edition marks the 28th gathering of the global steel value chain, providing a platform for producers, financiers, and suppliers to finalise deals and share insights amid significant global market changes.

Eng. Saeed Ghumran Al Remeithi, Group CEO of EMSTEEL, highlighted that this conference occurs during a pivotal time as the region experiences an industrial transformation. Iron and steel play a crucial role in this shift. He reiterated EMSTEEL's dedication to sustainable production and developing low-carbon solutions in line with net-zero objectives.
Raju Daswani, CEO of Fastmarkets, emphasised the impact of regional mega projects on global demand trends. These projects include infrastructure development, green hydrogen initiatives, and smart cities. He assured that Fastmarkets remains committed to delivering precise data and analysis to aid industrial and investment decisions.
The conference will feature representatives from companies with an annual steel production capacity exceeding 38 million tonnes. These companies have a combined market value of more than US$35 billion and export their products to over 70 countries worldwide.
This event stands as the largest assembly of its kind for the global steel industry. It offers a unique opportunity for stakeholders to engage in discussions about future trends and challenges facing the sector.
