Menassah Distribution Company Enhances Emirati Literature Presence At Muscat And Doha Book Fairs

Menassah Distribution Company is making strides in the Arab cultural landscape by promoting Emirati literature and supporting its authors. Their recent involvement at the Muscat International Book Fair, which ended on 4th May 2025, highlights this mission. They are also set to participate in the Doha International Book Fair from 8th to 17th May, continuing their efforts to elevate Emirati books.

The company's presence at these fairs underscores its commitment to enhancing the visibility of Emirati publications. At the Muscat Fair, Menassah's pavilion attracted many readers and cultural enthusiasts. It featured 730 titles from 77 Emirati publishers, offering a total of 4,000 copies across various knowledge fields.

Menassah Expands Presence at Book Fairs

In Doha, Menassah plans to expand its participation with 881 titles from 82 local publishing houses. They will present a total of 5,701 books covering diverse topics such as literature, philosophy, self-development, and children's books. This expansion reflects Menassah's growing role in marketing and distributing Emirati and Arab books more widely.

Rashid Al Kous, General Manager of Menassah, stated that their involvement in both book fairs extends their ongoing efforts to support the Emirati publishing industry. He emphasised their commitment to opening new avenues for local publishers and facilitating access to new readers across Arab and international markets.

Al Kous highlighted that book fairs are crucial cultural platforms for acquiring knowledge and showcasing intellectual production. He noted that Menassah's participation aligns with their strategy to build a sustainable distribution ecosystem through strong partnerships with global publishing houses and cultural institutions.

He further explained that they aim to deliver Emirati content to a broader audience because they believe knowledge serves as a bridge for connection and progress. This active presence affirms Menassah's vital role in supporting the Arab cultural movement and enhancing the global standing of Emirati books.
