Menassah Strengthens Commitment To Empowering Emirati Publishers At Regional Book Fairs

Menassah Distribution Company is enhancing its influence in the Arab cultural landscape by supporting Emirati publishers at regional book fairs. This initiative underscores its dedication to advancing local publishing and literary innovation. The company is participating in the Fujairah Children’s Book Fair, held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, from 26th October to 2nd November 2025.

During this event's second edition, Menassah will present and distribute 275 titles from 51 Emirati publishers, totalling 493 books. This effort aims to enrich young readers' experiences and nurture their love for reading and creativity. The company also took part in a book fair associated with the Katara Arabic Novel Award in Doha from 13th to 19th October 2025.

At the Katara event, Menassah promoted 565 titles from 79 Emirati publishers, amounting to 2,414 books. The event included cultural activities, literary sessions, and book signings. These activities aimed to elevate the status of Arabic novels and help local authors reach broader audiences across the region.

Rashid Al Kous, Director-General of Menassah, stated, "Our participation in both the Fujairah Children’s Book Fair and the Katara Book Fair in Qatar reflects our strategic direction to support the UAE publishing industry, empower publishers, and strengthen the presence of Arabic books and content in regional and international forums."

Al Kous further explained that such involvement seeks to create new opportunities for collaboration and knowledge sharing. This contributes to a sustainable cultural ecosystem that bolsters the UAE's role as a dynamic hub for creativity and innovation.
