Muslim Religious Leaders Of BRICS Countries Honour TRENDS CEO Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al-Ali With Prestigious Award

The Meeting of Muslim Religious Leaders of BRICS Countries recently acknowledged TRENDS, represented by its CEO, Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al-Ali, with the "Personality of the Year 2025" award. This recognition was given for his significant contributions to scientific research supporting Sustainable Development Goals. The award coincided with TRENDS Research & Advisory's 11th anniversary.

Dr. Al-Ali expressed his pride in receiving this honour, stating it reflects a collective achievement for TRENDS’ team of researchers and experts. He highlighted that their work enriches human knowledge through rigorous research and scholarly contributions.

BRICS Leaders Recognise TRENDS CEO with Award

The award was presented by Sheikh Ravil Gainutdin, Grand Mufti and Chairman of the Religious Board of Muslims of the Russian Federation. The event was attended by Dr. Khalifa Mubarak Al Dhaheri, Chancellor of Mohammed bin Zayed University for Humanities, and Dr. Ali Hussein Al-Zoghbi, President of the Federation of Muslim Associations in Brazil (FAMBRAS).

This recognition took place during the VI International conference titled "Spiritual Silk Road: the Role of Moral Values in Bridging Nations and Continents." Held in Rio de Janeiro, TRENDS participated as a research partner in this event.

The acknowledgment highlighted Dr. Al-Ali’s distinguished career and TRENDS’ achievements over 11 years in research and knowledge production. It underscored the centre’s pivotal role in promoting rigorous scientific approaches and fostering global intellectual dialogue.

Dr. Al-Ali emphasised that the award is not just a personal accolade but also recognises TRENDS’ vision and mission to advance enlightened thought. He noted its commitment to fostering values like tolerance, peace, and coexistence.
