Over 12,000 Visitors Receive Medical Aid At Prophet's Mosque From Prince Sultan Hospital

The Seasonal Medical Center of Prince Sultan Armed Forces Hospital in Madinah has been a beacon of healthcare, providing essential medical and emergency services to the visitors and citizens around the western courtyards of the Prophet's Mosque. Recent statistics released by the center highlight its significant impact on the community, with a total of 12,159 cases treated since its opening until the last Saturday. This figure includes 4,906 women and 7,253 men, demonstrating the center's wide-reaching assistance to those in need.

Among these cases, 37 were referred to hospitals under the Ministry of Health, showcasing the center's role in not only providing immediate care but also in facilitating further medical assistance when necessary. The detailed breakdown of the services rendered includes 167 bandaging cases, a substantial 11,213 outpatient cases, 83 respiratory therapy interventions, and 696 emergency responses. The facility is notably equipped with eight triage points and six primary clinics for patient care, which can be expanded to eight clinics to accommodate more patients. Additionally, it boasts 18 emergency observation beds and two mobile medical clinic vehicles, each with six observation beds. The center's capacity is further enhanced by five emergency beds and a resuscitation bed. To support its wide array of services, the center also comprises 23 tents. These include an emergency tent with nine beds, a sunstroke tent with two beds, a therapeutic nutrition and health education tent, two bandaging tents with two beds each, a pharmacy, a laboratory, and a tent dedicated to religious enrichment.
