Media Oasis Launches In Riyadh Amid U.S. President Trump's Visit To Saudi Arabia
The Ministry of Media has introduced the "Media Oasis" in collaboration with the Quality of Life Program, a part of Saudi Vision 2030. This event is scheduled for May 13 to 14 at Riyadh's Green Halls area. It coincides with U.S. President Donald J. Trump's visit to Saudi Arabia. The initiative aims to bolster Saudi Arabia’s media presence at global events, aligning with the Kingdom’s transformation goals.
The Media Oasis serves as a comprehensive platform featuring various exhibits and zones. One highlight is an exhibition celebrating 90 years of Saudi-American relations, showcasing significant historical moments and cultural exchanges between the two nations. This initiative underscores the deep-rooted ties and shared history that have shaped their relationship over the decades.

Another key feature is the "Oasis Exhibition" zone, which presents transformative projects under Saudi Vision 2030. It also highlights joint ventures between Saudi Arabia and the United States. This zone includes four studios catering to both local and international television channels, providing extensive media coverage opportunities.
The ninth edition of the Media Oasis spans an area of 2,000 square meters and incorporates cutting-edge technologies. It offers dedicated spaces for journalists, facilitating comprehensive coverage of President Trump's visit to Saudi Arabia. The event is expected to host over 2,500 media professionals from around the world.
This event is organized with contributions from several government bodies such as the Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC), NEOM project, New Murabba Development Company, Qiddiya Investment Company, and entities involved in Saudi Arabia's bid for hosting the 2034 World Cup. These collaborations reflect a unified effort to enhance media engagement during significant international visits.
The "Oasis Valley" zone provides a live broadcast of President Trump’s visit alongside various media services. This setup ensures real-time updates and comprehensive coverage of his activities in Saudi Arabia, highlighting the importance of this diplomatic engagement.
By establishing this integrated platform, the Ministry aims to create a professional environment conducive to media operations during major international events. The Media Oasis aligns with ongoing efforts under Saudi Vision 2030 to transform and elevate the Kingdom's global media presence.
