Media Oasis Highlights Vision 2030 At Future Aviation Forum In Riyadh
The Ministry of Media, in collaboration with the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA), organised the seventh "Media Oasis" at the third annual Future Aviation Forum. The event, under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, took place in Riyadh on May 20 and 21.
The Media Oasis comprises four distinct zones: The Saudi Hospitality Zone, the Oasis Valley, the Vision Exhibition, and the Instant Photography Zone. These zones aim to provide visiting officials and media professionals with a unique opportunity to explore the nation's flagship initiatives.

Leveraging advanced technologies and interactive models, attendees can delve into these projects, gaining insights and forging direct connections with experts to address their inquiries. The Vision 2030 Exhibition features several major national projects.
Participants include the Ministry of Sports, the General Authority for Survey and Geospatial Information, the Saudi Spirit Initiative, the Aseer Development Authority, the Royal Commission for AlUla, the Premium Residency Center, NEOM project, Sports Boulevard Foundation, Red Sea Global, New Murabba Development Company, Qiddiya Investment Company, Advanced Electronics Company, Saudi Press Agency, General Authority of Media Regulation, Saudi Broadcasting Authority, and Saudi Center for Government Communication.
Interactive Models and Technologies
The Media Oasis showcases interactive models of the Kingdom's major projects using advanced technologies. This allows visitors to explore these initiatives in an unconventional manner and highlights them during forum coverage. The event is expected to host over 700 officials and more than 120 media outlets and international journalists.
Media Oasis Initiative
The Media Oasis is one of the new initiatives launched by the Ministry of Media. It aims to provide media outlets with opportunities for outstanding local and international coverage. By utilising modern technology to support creativity and media innovation, the initiative seeks to achieve greater excellence in covering major events and national occasions in the Kingdom.
Previous Editions
The ministry has held six editions of the Media Oasis both locally and internationally. The first edition coincided with the 32nd Arab Summit in Jeddah. The second was held during the annual Grand Hajj Symposium. The third took place in New Delhi, India, during the Kingdom's participation in the G20 Leaders' Summit and HRH the Crown Prince's official visit to India.
The fourth edition was held in Riyadh to coincide with hosting African, Arab, and Islamic summits. The fifth edition took place in Paris in conjunction with Riyadh's selection to host Expo 2030. The sixth coincided with a special meeting of the World Economic Forum in Riyadh.
