Media Oasis Launches Its 10th Edition For GSR25 In Riyadh To Showcase Saudi Innovations

The Ministry of Media has introduced the "Media Oasis" in collaboration with the Communications, Space and Technology Commission. This event will take place from August 31 to September 6 at the King Abdulaziz International Conference Center in Riyadh. It coincides with the Global Symposium for Regulators (GSR25). The initiative aims to boost Saudi Arabia's media presence on a global scale, aligning with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.

The "Media Oasis" spans 4,000 square meters and is equipped with cutting-edge technology. It includes various zones tailored for media professionals. Over 2,500 journalists from both local and international outlets are expected to attend. The venue is designed to provide a professional environment that reflects the ongoing transformations under Saudi Vision 2030.

One of the main attractions is the "Oasis Valley," which features live broadcast screens. These screens will cover both the exhibition and the symposium’s opening ceremony. Additionally, it offers specialized media and technical services. Another significant area is the "Oasis Exhibition," showcasing transformative projects under Saudi Vision 2030 through interactive pavilions.

The exhibition highlights innovations and regulatory technologies (RegTech) and includes four studios for television channels. Various public and private entities are participating in these pavilions. Notable participants include the Ministry of Sport, Aseer Development Authority, Saudi Space Agency, Saudi National Bank, and Mobily.

National projects like NEOM and "Visit Saudi" are also featured alongside several local and international companies in communications and technology sectors. This diverse participation underscores the Kingdom's commitment to showcasing its advancements in these fields.

The GSR is a prominent annual international event hosted this year by Saudi Arabia in Riyadh. It is organized in partnership with the International Telecommunication Union under the theme "Regulation for Sustainable Digital Development." The event will see attendance from ministers, heads of regulatory authorities, policymakers, and private sector leaders representing over 190 countries.

This gathering provides a platform for discussing sustainable digital development regulations globally. It brings together key figures from various sectors to share insights and strategies for future growth.
