Media Minister Hosts Dinner For Delegations At Hajj Media Hub

The Minister of Media, Salman bin Yousef Al-Dosari, hosted a dinner banquet for media delegations covering this year’s Hajj season 1445 AH. The event took place in Makkah and saw the presence of Minister of Transport and Logistic Services, Eng. Saleh bin Nasser Al-Jasser, Minister of Health, Fahd bin Abdulrahman Al-Jalajel, and General Supervisor of the Palestinian Official Media, Ahmed Assaf.

The initiative by the Ministry of Media was well-received by the attending media delegations. They appreciated the Ministry's efforts to strengthen cooperation and foster relationships among media professionals from various countries. This initiative aims to highlight Hajj as an Islamic obligation that receives continuous attention from the Kingdom's leadership.

Dinner Honours Hajj Media Teams

The Hajj Media Hub is designed as an interactive digital environment to support media representatives in their coverage of the Hajj season. This year, the Hub has attracted 1,500 media professionals from around the world and serves over 150 local, Arab, Islamic, and international media outlets.

The Hub features 11 supportive media areas and an interactive media exhibition showcasing services provided to pilgrims. It aims to bring together various sectors of the media system in one place to support and enable media work. Additionally, it provides modern technologies to foster innovation and creativity in reporting on Hajj.

The Hajj Media Hub's mission is to create an environment where media professionals can effectively perform their duties. The Hub's facilities reflect the significant development and transformation in services provided to pilgrims. This initiative underscores the Kingdom's commitment to ensuring that pilgrims can perform their rituals with ease and reassurance.
