MBRHE Reports Steady Progress On AED 3.3 Billion Housing Projects Across Dubai Areas

The Mohammed Bin Rashid Housing Establishment (MBRHE) is making significant strides in four key housing projects located in Wadi Al Amardi, Al Awir, Hatta, and Al Yalayis 5. These projects will collectively provide 1,749 homes with a total investment exceeding AED3.3 billion. This initiative is part of a larger housing programme approved in January 2025 by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

Mohammed Al Shehhi, Acting CEO of MBRHE, emphasised the importance of these projects in fulfilling the leadership's vision to enhance residential stability and support Dubai’s broader social and economic objectives. "MBRHE places the completion of new housing projects at the forefront of its priorities, with a focus on creating integrated residential communities that fulfil citizens’ needs while providing comfort, safety, and well-being. This embodies the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum to make Dubai the best city in the world to live in — a city built on prosperity and human-centred development," Al Shehhi said.

MBRHE Updates on AED 3.3 Billion Housing Projects

The Al Awir project includes 398 homes covering 3.217 million square feet with an investment of AED734 million. Scheduled for completion in early 2026, it will feature advanced infrastructure and community amenities tailored for Emirati families. Meanwhile, the Wadi Al Amardi project consists of 432 homes over 3.669 million square feet, costing AED767 million, also set to finish in the first quarter of 2026.

The Hatta development stands out as one of MBRHE’s unique initiatives. It involves constructing 213 homes over an area of 2.654 million square feet with an investment of AED508 million. Completion is expected by late 2026. This project aligns with Hatta’s transformation into a lively urban and tourism hub that respects its heritage while embracing modernity.

Al Yalayis 5 is the largest among these developments, featuring 706 homes across nearly 7 million square feet at a cost of AED1.31 billion. It aims to set a standard for sustainable residential communities designed to meet Dubai’s future housing demands. Completion is anticipated by late 2028.

The comprehensive housing programme includes a total of 3,004 homes valued at AED5.4 billion. It reflects the leadership’s commitment to improving citizens’ quality of life through enhanced housing stability.

Al Shehhi highlighted that these projects demonstrate Dubai's dedication to providing modern and sustainable living environments that enable citizens to lead stable lives with dignity. The developments are aligned with efforts to strengthen family stability and improve overall living standards for Emirati citizens.
